Ok so here's BIG news #1:
So I don't know if you all remember but back in December I had interviewed for a job that I was pretty excited for. It was similar to what my internship was this past summer (digital marketing) and the company seemed really awesome as well. Well a couple months went by and I hadn't heard anything so I kinda gave up on it...until this Monday. I got a call when I was writing a paper for my poli sci class TOTALLY last minute and I found out
I GOT THE JOB!!!!
Which is absolutely CRAZY. I really can't believe that I have a "big person" job and that I'm going to be starting a month after I graduate. Which is both exciting and terrifing at the same time. AND which also leads me to BIG news #2:
I'M MOVING TO CLEVELAND!!
Which is also absolutely exciting and terrifing. I'm so excited because I'm not going to be that far away from my besties as well as many other close friends who are also staying in Ohio (at least for right now.) I'm absolutely TERRIFIED because I know people from the Cleveland area but not directly in the city and I think I'm going to have to live by myself which kinda scares the crap out of me. So not only are these next few weeks going to be filled with moving out of school but also moving to a brand new city. I basically have NO idea what I'm doing right now so if anyone has any advice on finding an apartment, living on your own, basically ANY advice about becoming a "real" person than let me know!
Soooo in the upcoming weeks I still might be a little sketchy on my posting/commenting but please hang in there because I'll be back to my regular posting when I'm completely settled. Hope you all are doing well!
xoxo

CONGRATULATIONS!! That is SO SO exciting!
ReplyDeleteAs someone who searched for MONTHS for a job - trust me when I say that it's SO GREAT for you to be starting so soon after graduation. Let's hope that money starts rolling in :)
And yay on the big move!! Congrats!
Congrats on the job! Good luck with moving and I have no idea what to tell you!
ReplyDeleteoh wow! Thats amazing!!!! Congrats on the big job and the brave move :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! How very exciting! Cleveland has a lot to offer and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteOh my god..... I have a ton of advice! I moved about a month after I graduated high school into my own apartment, etc!! Basically my advice for apartment shopping- browse now, get to know prices, think of what you want and what your willing to settle for. Examples: Is it okay if you have to travel to a laundry mat to do laundry? Do you care if it is updated vs not updated? Do you want off street parking? Is it close to grocery store, shopping, work, etc? Is it in a safe part of town? Also, when you start actually looking you will know what is right for you... you just "feel" it. Oh and my biggest piece of advice is don't get too over your head cost wise... I see way too many people do that! It makes your super stressed! And on decorating... breathe and give it some time. Of course you want everything done right away, but trust me if you just let it happen over the course of a few months you will be that much happier and you wouldn't have made impulse decisions/wasted money.
ReplyDeleteanything else? feel free to e-mail me ;)
Congrats on the job! It sounds like a great opportunity for you. Good luck getting through your last week of classes and good luck on the move. I'm sure you'll be busy, but I can't wait to hear more about all these about all these changes for you
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! And good luck!
