Let's Try This Again....

Earlier this summer I jumped on the bandwagon and got a twitter account which I LOVED. However I was a complete idiot, and used my full name, so when I randomly googled myself one day and found my twitter account I kinda freaked and deleted it. So I don't know why I just decided to recreate one again this morning, considering that it's on 9am here and I'm not really awake yet but I did haha. So if you all want (and I hope you do!) click the link on my sidebar and follow along! Oh, and I found someof you but I would love to follow everyone so leave your username so I can follow you too! Hope everyone's having a good week and getting ready for NYE tomorrow!

HOLY SH!T!!

That was my reaction yesterday (said in my head) when I googled my name and my twitter page was the first listing that came up. Which made me immediately want to twitter what I found. You see I probably am the dumbest/most naive person when it comes to all things related to technology. Yesterday when I was at work I had to "repurpose" (aka write the same article over again but in my own words) an interesting (and helpful) article about how people are turning to social networking sites to help them with their job searches. At the end of the article it said how (obvi) you had to be careful about revealing too much online so a good way to do this would be to google your name.

A quick side note: when I registered for my twitter account I first used my real name however I then realized that I didn't want a lot of people finding me so that's when I changed it to my initials. When I checked my initials were saved in the profile section and they're what appeared on my page.

Anyway I don't know why my name still appeared connected with my twitter account when I googled my name but it did. Now I only had twitter for like two weeks and I didn't really put alot about my internship on it but when my supervisor was out on Monday I did put that I was getting distracted and spending time on twitter and blogger.....OOPS!

So I don't think anyone at work saw it but I FREAKED out anyway and immediately deleted my account. So I'm sure right now all of you are laughing your asses off that someone could possibly be that stupid but what can I say....I guess I AM that stupid! Anyhoo that is the reason I am no longer on Twitter. I might go back eventually but right now I don't think I can handle the power that comes with it hahaha

The other thing I wanted to mention is that this is my last post before Monday because I am off to Naples today...WOOOOHOOOO! I am SO excited and cannot wait! I am all pack and wanted to show pictures of what I'm taking but for some reason my cameras not uploading pictures right now...weird. I am taking wayyyy too much for the weekend but o well. I'm so happy because my supervisor said that I didn't have to go into work today so I have the morning off and am watching er reruns on TNT...my fav! I hope everyone has a great weekend and see you all on Monday!

Tweet Tweet!

So as I'm sure you can tell by the title of this post (and through the neat little section on my sidebar)  I'm finally on Twitter! I needed to get an account set up for my internship this summer (which starts tomorrow...gulp) so while I was filling everything out I thought that I would create a "fun" non-work account too! If you can't get enough of me through blogging and want to know more about my boring life (which I'm sure all of you do hehe) feel free to follow along! Even if you don't really care about what I do feel free to follow too because I don't have any followers right now and would love to have the impression that I have some friends haha. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Ps-WOOHOO MTV movie awards are on tonight! Even though I'm probably like 5 years older than the target audience I still love this and the VMAs sometimes more than the "real" award shows
