Well after an exciting, overwhelming, sad, and basically just amazing two weeks, the craziness that is the end of senior year has finally ended. Finals week came and went (and I got my final grades back on Thursday which means that I have passed everything and officially graduated) and graduation weekend was an absolute blast. On the Friday of graduation weekend my housemates and I hosted a party for our friends and family, and then Saturday was the big commencement for everyone and the small ceremony for the Arts and Sciences college. The actual ceremonies were such a blur but one thing I do remember is that it was COLD! The big ceremony outside was so painful to sit through that the President ended it early which was welcomed! Sunday was filled with packing up the house and then my dad, friends, and I went out for one last dinner.
Driving away from the place where I spent the best four years of my life was really one of the hardest things ever, but as much as I miss everything about college, I really am excited to move and start my new job. On Monday my dad and I started the drive back to Boston, but stopped in Cleveland to find my new apartment. After a LOT of searching I found it and I can't wait to post pictures of it when I move in. My dad and I got back last Tuesday and then on Thursday, a couple friends and I went to Florida this past weekend for one last getaway. This weekend was SO much fun and I can't wait to post pictures as soon as I upload them! I got home yesterday, so today I'm basically just relaxing and catching up on tv that I missed while I was away. I also really need to actually unpack from school, so that I can start repacking to move again. So once again these next couple weeks are going to be crazy again but I think that I can finally start keeping up with blogging, and I'm excited to get back to reading all of yours. I think that's going to be it for today but I also wanted to say a huge CONGRATS to all of the other (college, high school, grad school etc) graduates out there!

Highs and Lows
I don't know about all of you but Thanksgiving Break, seriously could not come soon enough. Between school, riding, activities, and still trying to have a social life (a definite FAIL) last week was completely crazy. Here are some of the highlights of the past week-ish (and I'll start with the lows first because it's best to get those out of the way!)

Lows
- The Horseshow at _____ (they know who they are haha)- The horseshow that our team went to the weekend of the 13th was seriously one of the WORST shows ever. Personally I rode pretty well and was overall very happy with both my ride and my horse (although even though I love the color pink if I get another 5th place I will flip out) but the judge was seriously HORRIBLE. In one class all 3 of our riders didn't place (and two of them definitely should have) and the school that was hosting the show, and prides themselves on having an amazing equestrian program, didn't have the courtesy to start even remotely on time. We have to go back there in February and I'm really not looking forward to it.
- School- I think the Communication department at my school made a pack to kill all of their students right before Thanksgiving. I have not had that much work in my life and am really not looking forward to finals...although I think they actually might be easier to handle than last week was!
- Mental Breakdowns- Last Wednesday was a really LONGGG day that ended with me crying on the phone to my dad while walking to the library, going to two meetings with makeup all over my face, then coming home, drinking a glass of wine (by myself. in my room. in the dark), getting a McFlurry, drinking more wine, falling asleep and then waking up at 3am to do work that was supposed to be emailed at 12 am. Solid.
- BRUUUUCE- The Bruce Springsteen concert was seriously the most AMAZING concert I have ever seen in my entire life. He played the entire Born to Run Album (with Prove It All Night and Jungleland being AMAZING) and then played (among a ton of other fantastic songs) Because the Night and Born in the USA...I seriously DIED. What made the night even better was that S, M, and I went to this bar across the street, both before and after the concert, that played great music and was overall a TON of fun!
- New Moon- My friends and I went to the midnight showing on Thursday and it was amazing...SO much better than Twilight! It's funny though, although I liked it at the time, the more I think back on it the more I realize I absolutely LOVED it, and I really want to go and see it again...although that's not going to happen right now because none of my friends at home having gotten into the series. They have no idea what they're missing haha!
- A Third Interview- After having a second interview the week before, and not hearing back all week about whether or not I got a third, and final interview (which partly contributed to my breakdown on Wednesday), on Friday I found out I got a third interview with this company! The interview is a week from Wednesday, and although I'm REALLY nervous, I can't wait. The job is similar to what I did this summer (digital marketing) and I think that I would be really great in this position. Keep your fingers crossed!

A Recap in Pictures
I was going over my posts today, and besides from my Tunes Tuesday posts, (which I don't know about all of you but I've been having a great time digging through my Itunes to come up with songs and a theme) and I noticed that I have been a REALLY bad blogger lately. All of the school work that goes along with senior year has been catching up with me, and the fact that I have be (semi) actively job hunting. Which reminds me...remember the job interview that I had a couple weeks ago? Well it went really well because I have a second interview on Tuesday! I have no idea if this is going to go anywhere but I really hope it does because 1.) I need a job, 2.) the company sounds really cool and it's in a field (digital marketing) that I'm interested in and 3.) I REALLY need a job!
Besides from that nothing that exciting has happend so I decided that I would recap my last couple weeks in pictures...because nothing is more fun than that right? These are from the last two weeks and include my bday, halloween, and my other housemate S's bday. Enjoy!

(The bday cake my housemates got for me)

(If you can't tell I was Wonder Woman!)

(My glittle A, me, one of my littles N, and my other glittle J)

(me and my other little E)

(Celebrating S's bday)

(Her first [legal] drink!)

I also have seen that other bloggers are saying something that they are thankful for each day of November, and while I can't promise to say something each day I'm going to do the best I can! Today I'm thankful for the "Leaves" scented candle that I got from Bath and Body Works. I can't really describe the smell but it's delish and is making my room smell like Fall!

I Seriously Have the Best Friends EVER!!
I don't know if I've ever mentioned it on here but one of my all time favorite bands, and hands down FAVORITE concert to go to is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. I'll even just go to Bruce by myself but the E Street Band always makes it alot more fun! So imagine how FREAKING excited/happy/so blown away when S and M surprised me with tickets (for my birthday in October) to see:

in November!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH I am SOOOO excited and I am so blown away by my friends generosity....absolutely amazing!! Soooo in just a few short months I'll be screaming BRUUUUUUUCE and I can't WAIT!!

Happy Birthday C!!

(the only slightly old picture I could find of the two of us due to computer crashes earlier this year!)
So like I mentioned earlier today is my BFF's 21st birthday and I could NOT be happier! C and I first met in the 4th grade when we both went trick or treating with a mutual friend of ours, and we both HATED each other because we both thought that we were "best friends" with the mutual friend so we couldn't be friends with each other. In the 6th grade when C came to my school, we still weren't really friends with each other and really only became close in high school. C and I have had the CRAZIEST and most random experiences together and I am SOO happy that she is finally 21!! I can't wait to celebrate with her tonight and it is going to be so much fun!!
On a totally different note....does anyone else feel like they just went though an emotional battlefield last night just by watching tv?? First there was Grey's which I was a little teary throughout but by the end I was shouting at the TV and bawling (I won't say why for anyone who hasn't watched it yet but the last 5 min are a DOOZY!!) Then I watched the Office, and was crying at the end of that too because I was just so happy for Jim and Pam and think they are the cutest! The worst for me was Bones, (don't know if anyone out there watches it but if you don't you should) which I watched last because I didn't think it was going to be sad at all and then had such a sad ending that I started crying all over again! WHEW... I don't think I can handle any sadness on tv for a while!
So I think this will probably be it for me until I come back from Ireland. I hope everyone has a great week and can't wait to catch up with you all when I come back! Oh and I know swap partners for the koozie and summer swap are going to be announced Monday so future partners if you read this I'll try to email you in Ireland but most likely will email you after!

Update from the Road
I don't know about anyone else but I used to have the most romantic idea about road trips. This probably comes from my love of the Britney Spears movie Crossroads which is (sadly enough) still one of my favorite movies. Well after taking my fourth or fifth road trip this semester I can officially say that I HATE them. I am SOOO sick of driving, and although I am having so much fun with my dad I cannot wait to be home and see my mom and my dog!

In other news this weekend has been great! The graduation was fantastic and I cannot believe that my dad's godson J, and his girlfriend S are now doctors!! Last night we went to this restaurant called Zimmerman's Roadhouse, and it was AMAZING!!! We all split onion rings and sweet potato fries to start (this definitely wasn't a place to be on a diet!) and then I had the most AMAZING crab cakes with rice and J's sister L, and I split a brownie sundae for dessert...YUM!! After dinner J, S, L, and I all went out to a bar called Rick's which was so much fun, and this morning we all went to brunch before leaving. It was such a great weekend, and I was so glad to see everyone and get to spend time with my dad!
Lastly, because we are going to be on the road tomorrow, and I might not get to post this I would like to wish everyone a very happy happy Mother's Day. I love my mom SOOO much, and I am more grateful to her than she will ever know. I am so lucky that I am so close with my mom and I cannot wait to see her tomorrow, and celebrate the fact that she is the best Mom in the world!!

Under Pressure....
No I'm not talking about the Bowie/Queen song (although I LOVE that song and am humming it to myself right now haha) but about the fact that I have come to the realization that I cannot do any work of any kind unless I have an EXACT deadline that is rapidly approaching. Case in point: one of my good friends and sorority sister just called me to see if she could borrow my computer cord to use for the rest of the night because hers is broken. Even though I have had ALL DAY to work on this project that is due tomorrow, knowing that I will only have a couple hours until my computer dies has given me the motivation to finish this project [although I'm not doing a very good job since I'm blogging right now ;)] Bah....does anyone have any advice on how to work ahead instead of being a horrible procrastinator like me?
Anyhoo in other news I had a FABULOUS weekend! A very long post (with pictures!) will be coming tomorrow but for tonight I wanted to go into a rant. I have come to the conclusion that people are RUDE and this fact makes me kinda sad. Two examples to back this up: 1.) My friends and I were standing at this bar on Friday night waiting to get served. One of my friends who was ahead of me stepped back to let me get through, and as I was stepping back to let them get by, this guy came out of NOWHERE (and I mean I think he literally ran from the entrance to the actual bar) and completely cut all of us! When my friends and I (politely) told him that his response was "that sucks"....RUDE!!! 2.) At the same bar (which has an outdoor patio) I was walking inside, and this guy smoking a cig in back of me flicks it and totally burns my foot. While I'm hopping up and down and trying to go back outside he turns to me and goes "Oh baby did I do that?" Ok so first off I don't know you and am definitely NOT your baby and second of all yes you did and it would be nice if you apologized...RUDE! 3.) (I just thought of one more incident) Last weekend my housemates and I threw a very informal "beer olympics" with many sorority sisters (including freshman girls who we don't know that well) coming over. Even though we didn't have many games we thought that everyone had a great time until one of my housemates saw that the the caption under a picture that a freshman girl took and posted on facebook said "most disorganized beer olympics ever" Um ok since when has it been ok to come to a house with people that you don't know very well and then criticize them??? RUDE!
Whew rant is now over!! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend with this beautiful (i think it was warm in most areas) weather!
