Lights, Camera, Action!

I absolutely LOVE movies but given my busy schedule at school I don't really get to see them this often. Over these past two weeks I've seen more movies than I have in a while and it's been fantastic! Last Sunday my friends and I went to see Avatar in 3D which I wanted to see just because everyone has seen it but I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not.

Well I absolutely LOVED it. Although the story was totally cheesy I still loved it, and the effects were absolutely beautiful and amazing. Seeing it in 3D was definitely the way to go, and if anyone hasn't seen it you should go right now...I actually wouldn't mind seeing it again!

Yesterday my friends and I went to see When in Rome which I kind of didn't want to see just because of the 800 ads that they've been running but I was pleasantly surprised again.

While it wasn't the best in the world it was really cute, and some parts were pretty funny...Josh Duhamel was also pretty nice to stare at too! Overall it was a fun movie and a good choice for a Saturday afternoon.

When we got back we didn't really feel like going out, so we all decided to get take out and have a movie night at home. The first movie we rented was Nights in Rodanthe which I always wanted to see when it got out but never got the chance to.

Ok so I did end up missing a chunk of it because I was doing laundry but I saw about half of it and absolutely LOVED it and also DIED at the ending. I recommend this to everyone and really want to see the first half and also read the book as well.

After, we watched Disturbia which was on TNT (absolutely love that movie) and then rented I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. I absolutely loved this book (even though many of the stories are SO wrong haha) and was really curious to see how they were going to make it into a movie.

It was really funny, and I was happy that some of my favorite stories from the book made it in, but I liked the book alot more and would definitely recommend it over the movie. Today was another lazy day spent doing a TON of homework and not much else. I also watched the Grammy's tonight and have to say that I was kinda unimpressed. I LOVED Gaga and Elton John in the beginning, and thought that Bon Jovi was fun but I didn't really like a lot of the other performances. Oh and I think I'm in the definite minority here but is anyone else besides me getting a little annoyed with Taylor Swift? I like her music but there's something about her that totally annoys me, and I was getting REALLY sick of seeing her so many times tonight!

So that was my boring weekend in a nutshell. Anyone else do anything exciting or see any good movies?

Scared Silly

Oh man. I am DEFINITELY not getting to sleep for a while! After going out to dinner, and watching the first 5 innings of the 6th and sadly the last game of the World Series (BOOOO) S (my other housemate S) and I decided to see Paranormal Activity because we heard a ton of things about it and wanted to check it out for ourselves.

OMG. Wow what a fun but SCARY SCARY movie. I feel so bad for the poor guy in front of me because between my long legs, and the fact that he was a little on the short side I think I kicked him in the head about 5 times haha. The last 15-20 minutes were seriously one of the most terrifying things that I'd ever seen, but even though it was so scary it also was alot of fun, so for those who haven't seen it yet definitely go check it out. Sorry for the ramble and I can already tell it's going to be a long night...the wall between M and my room just creaked and I almost just screamed!

Random Thoughts and Musings

Yay it's Thursday! I don't work on Fridays so my weekend has officially begun and to make things even better me and the other intern got out at 3 today so I spent the rest of the afternoon wandering and window shopping around my town which was so nice and relaxing. After that my BFF C and I went to Brighams to get ice cream (quack tracks with rainbow jimmies for me...YUM!) And yes I did have ice cream before dinner so don't judge...or tell Jillian I'm seeing her later tonight after dinner haha. 

Anyhoo I am so excited for tomorrow because it's supposed to be completely sunny and 80 so I can't wait to lay out all day! Besides from that nothing too exciting happened today however I do have some random things I'd like to share but because they are SOO random, and because I'm feeling wicked lazy right now I'm going to bullet point the rest. 

-Is anybody besides me still watching Weeds? Ok if you are did anyone else get SO ANGRY at Monday's episode at the end when Nancy left Andy and went to live with the effing Mexican gangster? I may or may not have been crying and may or may not have thrown my sneaker at the TV

-Has anyone else had those dreams where you wake up the next morning and think  Wow I must have been on crack because there is no explanation for what just happened? I def had one of those dreams last night.  So my dream (the parts that I remember at least) was that I was a vampire and I was hanging out with Bill and Eric...I don't know where Sookie was. Oh and I was addicted to Coke (the drug not the soda haha). I don't really know what happened besides that but I remembered that I woke up at one point last night and thought HOLY SH!T I'm a drug addict! But then I remembered that it was just a dream and I went right back into it....I'm going to chalk this up to the fact that I've been spending alot of time with Sookie and the gang lately (I just finished the 7th Sookie Stackhouse book last night) but if this dream comes back I'm checking myself in to see a shrink haha

-I've recently become OBSESSED with the B.Spears song Hot as Ice off the Blackout CD and have definitely had dance parties by myself at night listening to that song. Listen to it and your ears will be VERY happy!

-Yesterday the head of the company I'm interning for who I know pretty well and see on an almost daily basis (our office is REALLY small and theres only like 7 full time people there) thought that I was the other intern, A, for about 5 min. At first I was kinda insulted that he didn't know it was me when I see him pretty regularly but on the other hand the other intern he got me confused with is about half my size and GORGEOUS so I decided to take it as a compliment and roll with it haha...who knows maybe Jillian is working after all! 

-Speaking of Jillian: I just noticed the other day that in Level 1 Circut 2 during the first round of the standing lunges, Natalie (I think that's her name) the advance girl TOTALLY cheats and doesn't lunge when she thinks the camera isn't on her. That made me feel pretty damn good when I was lunging and she wasn't! 

-Lastly I saw Public Enemies last night and LOVED it! I thought Johnny Depp was sooo cute (as he is in everything haha) and def teared up at the end...however I did get annoyed when in the last scene when the police man is talking to Billie (I'll try not to give too much of this away) and she didn't really cry but only her eyes watered. Wow if that was me I would have been curled up in the fetal position BAWLING my eyes out! If you haven't seen it yet def go check it out you won't be disappointed!

P.S- Were any of you Boston ladies lucky enough to see Bruce Springsteen last night or Tuesday at the Garden (well I think its called T.D Banknorth now I can never keep it straight) I heard he was AMAZING!!!
