First Sign of Fall

I had a break between classes today so after I finished my lunch, I decided to sit outside the building enjoying the HOT but beautiful weather. I was reading one of my textbooks when I noticed this:

WOOHOO! Even though it is only late August I am SO happy that some of the trees on campus are starting to change, and I can't wait until all of these trees look like these:

Fall is my absolute FAVORITE season, and I can't wait for the beautiful, cool weather, pumpkins, apple cider, sweaters, and (most importantly haha) my birthday! Next week around here it's supposed to be in the 60s which is just another sign that Fall is right around the corner!

On a completely different note I am SO happy that the first week of classes is over! Even though I wasn't the best on doing all of my homework this week (I really need to catch up on reading this weekend!) I feel like I have been running around all week so I can't wait to just RELAX for the next couple days. I don't really think I have a ton of huge weekend plans so I would love to hear if any of you all do and have a fantastic weekend!

  1. You are lucky, it will still be hot as blazes here and the trees will not change until at least October. Fall does not really exist in the south...but football season does!

  2. Yay for fall! :) And congratulations on your first week of class. I know this makes me a super nerd...but I always loved getting the fresh syllabi, reading over the assignments, buying all my books. I miss college!

  5. Hope life at Miami is going well this fall! Husby is trying to decide if he and a bunch of other fraternity brothers are coming down for Homecoming in October. I'm not sure it will happen, but we're hoping to come down in the Spring for the Glee Club Spring Concert. Fun!!

  8. SO jealous! We don't get "real" seasons in Florida. After college I lived in DC for a bit and long to experience real Fall again!
